SUbmissions

From Here is always looking to partner with folks in creating content. Our hope is to be recognized as a space which offers a broad range of perspectives, voices and experiences. Please find the guidelines for submitting to Common Horizon, our print publication exploring Catholic Social Teaching. To submit to The Vessel, our community driven newsletter, please first subscribe to the newsletter and follow prompts to contribute once you are part of that community. If you are interested in leading a From Here Session or have another idea that aligns with our mission and vision, please email us at fromheremedia@gmail.com.

  • An email receipt of submission will be sent within 48 hours.

  • Finished pieces are subject to the editing process. Contributors are required to go through at least one round of content edits.

  • Artists who are interested in submitting either the cover art or the patron saint of the issue should FIRST contact From Here at fromheremedia@gmail.com with a brief description of idea for project. Please do not submit a piece without first being commissioned.

Cover Art and Patron Saint artists will be paid commensurate with experience and commission fees

  • Volume Three will begin with Dignity of the Human Person. Submit your proposal by March 31, 2026 to fromheremedia@gmail.com with the subject line: DIGNITY.

  • While we understand that AI now touches our lives in ways we may or may not have chosen, Common Horizon asks that writers and artists not use AI in any phase of the creation of their work. This endeavor began in order to be the Universal Church, to lift up the voices and talents of our brothers and sisters, and we want the uniqueness of your piece that is so truly you to shine through. Our human editors are glad to catch any errors and help make adjustments. We welcome your full, authentic self.
